Provides front-line primary technical support to end users through troubleshooting workstation and user problems. Diagnose and resolve issues with team member systems including computer hardware & software.Responsibilities
  • Records required team member and problem information in the designated trouble ticket system. Updates tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities, and closes tickets with resolution and hours worked upon completion of the job.
  • Provide documentation as appropriate (e.g. ticket creation and maintenance, e-mails, process improvements, knowledge base articles, monthly reports).
  • Elevates complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support groups for resolution.
  • Install/replace workstations, phones, mobile devices, hard drives, power supplies, memory, graphics cards, peripheral items (monitors, keyboards, mice, scanners, and others), etc.
  • Delivers and performs system set-up of new & repaired workstations along with installation of additional hardware, software and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements.
  • Assist other technicians and analysts as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsCurrent student working on a degree in computer science/computer information systems, related field with the intent of starting a career in IT. Ability to work with and communicate with all Credit Union personnel in the various departments. Ability to maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.Physical Requirements:
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
