Freight Broker

• Serve as the main intermediary between shippers and carriers, optimizing logistical strategies.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while strengthening existing client partnerships.
• Negotiate terms and rates with carriers, ensuring competitive pricing and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling and tracking of shipments, managing logistics from start to finish.
• Handle all documentation, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
• Utilize platforms such as HubSpot, Slack, and Rose Rocket to streamline operations.
• Maintain an active LinkedIn presence to engage with industry professionals and promote our services.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred to effectively communicate with regional stakeholders.
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of freight broker laws and regulations.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in freight brokerage, familiar with FTL and LTL shipments.
• Experience in cold storage or refrigerated goods logistics is a plus.
• Proficient in logistics software, Google Suite, and CRM tools.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships.
