LMSWs and/or LPCAs who need to complete clinical hours will be considered.Clinical / Administrative:
- Completes comprehensive initial behavioral health evaluations.
- Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy for children and/or adults in an outpatient clinic.
- Consults with providers within and outside the agency regarding the treatment plan and progress of the clients for care coordination.
- Attend and participate in clinical team meetings and clinical supervision.
- Meets client contact commitment weekly (30 clients for full-time) and adjusted for part-time or FFS.
- Completion of clinical records, as required, and in accordance with policies and procedures and in compliance with CIFC Health policy and regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge of crisis signs and symptoms; Provide crisis intervention services with clients.
- Assess immediate safety concerns, including high risk clients who may be at risk for homicide, suicide, and domestic violence.
- Develop treatment plans and treatment plan reviews, collaboratively, with the client and family.
- Provide referrals and linkages to additional services such as psychiatric referrals, medication management, medical, and other services as appropriate.
- Capacity to work with multi-disciplinary team and participate in clinical team meetings, case conferences as well as work independently.
- Utilization of evidenced based interventions.
- Complete periodic insurance reports, authorizations, and re-authorizations as required.
- Completes and locks all treatment notes no later than 24 hours following visit.
- Completes reports as required for outside agencies such as DCF, probation, and others with appropriate releases signed by client(s).
- Experience working with and documenting in electronic medical records.
- Ability and experience in providing telehealth services.
- Ability to conceptualize and implement whole person care, mental health, integrated medical, addiction, and other social determinants of health needs.
- Must hold current CT LCSW, LMFT, or LPC License issued by DPH.
- 1-3+ years' experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care
- LMSWs and/or LPCAs who need to complete clinical hours will be considered; subject to an applicable salary range and commensurate upon experience.
- Experience working with clients in a variety of settings, such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, or community mental health centers.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
