- We are hiring for 3 positions:
- 1) Availability from 7a-9p on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
- 2) Availability from 7a-7p on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- 3) Availability from 7a-7p on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
- Actual work hours within that availability will vary based on client needs
- Flexibility to work in different locations throughout Omaha is required
- Employees are expected to be in the office when not scheduled with clients, our address is 13323 California St, Omaha, NE 68154
- 40 hours of paid working time per week is guaranteed, with opportunity for overtime
- $20.00/hr. - weekly pay & direct deposit

- At least 5+ years of paid caregiving experience, additional work experience preferred
- Have a Nebraska Driver’s License and up to date Auto Insurance
- Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
- Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations
- Ability to navigate apps on a smartphone - it is required that you use the Honor Care Pro App and must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android
- Personal Care Experience, including bathing and incontinence care
- Memory Care Experience
- Experience working with home care equipment (eg. hoyer lift, sit to stand, etc.)
- Provide care for clients, including being available to help new clients quickly start care and providing coverage when another caregiver is absent
- 1-on-1 assistance with hands-on, non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and changing adult briefs
- Mobility assistance, including usage of hoyer lift and other equipment
- Dementia and Alzhimers care
- Meal preparation and medication reminders
- Companionship and conversation
- Train other caregivers who are visiting a client for the first time or when the clients’ care needs have changed, includes supporting caregivers who have no prior experience
- Provide feedback to the Home Instead team to improve client care plans and help us understand when another Care Pro is a great fit or needs more support
- Utilize technology to complete tasks and communicate with the Home Instead team
- Provide in office support including assisting with mailing, making phone calls and helping Care Pros who need in person support
- Participate in meetings with Home Instead team
