- Ensure the Metso employees follow the Metso Life Saving Rules, Modus Operandi and costumer's safety standard
- Implement Metso and or costumer EHS tools mandated by project management
- Implement and support Metso and Costumer's EHS initiatives
- Help Area Supervisor/project manager/coordinator/Metso Advisors to report all incidents, near miss cases , risks/hazards as instructed and take corrective actions to mitigate the risk
- Input field inspection, audit report finding and actions plan on HSE24 reporting system and monitor the progress of the action plan.
- Support the project manager/coordintor/Advisors to comply with project EHS KPIs
- Prepare report and or chart as well as statistic of TRIFR, LTIFR, safety conversations, risk observation and close risk observation, training, inspections and other HSE KPIs report on monthly basis.
- Coordinate and support hazards identification and risk assessment (JSEA, Take 5, Risk Observations, HIRADC) at work place.
- Suppport project manager/coordinator/Advisors to facilitate risk register review.
- Coordinate incident/risk observation investigations and follow up the corrective actions needed
- Participate in internal and external EHS audit /Inspection programs
- Maintain EHS data, document and other EHS related sources
- Support local/project emergency preparedness when required
- Be responsible to coordinate all safety related reports
- Utilize the HSE24 report system for data resources and documentation system.
- Be responsible for all reports required by the regulators (Department of Manpower/DEMR).
- Prepare and handling all safety related document of equipment certification, inspections and audit (when any)
- Maintain and or develop safety related procedures, form/template document control system when required
- Assist employees to report findings, recommend solutions, improve safety measures and implement preventive procedures to limit/mitigate risks.
- Update the HSE LTI board and on day to day basis.
- Support the project manager/coordinator and site personnel in other EHS activities
- Deliver Metso EHS training as required
- Possess a university degree or Academy. This degree will preferably be in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), or Loss Prevention or related field, however if a title in this field is not met, the individual may supplement their knowledge with professional development courses and experience (minimum 1 year).
- At minimum, Certified in Competency for First Operational Supervisor (POP) by DEMR (Departement of Energy and Mineral Resources, when required by the user) or AK3 Umum (by Naker)
- Understands the local EHS management system and philosophies.
- Good English both written and spoken
- Must have a talent for working with other people effectively; fellow employees, customers, contractors.
- Must be able to speak to groups and communicate the EHS initiatives and programs
- Good in Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, power point and posses presentations skill.
