OverviewWe’re hiring for a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team! We’ll provide the training; you just bring the positive attitude and desire to learn!The primary focus of this position is to provide remarkable customer service to our guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere and actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling.In this position, you can expect to:
- Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
- Prepare and dish up salads
- Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
- Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
- Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
- Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older
