  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearances.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
PreferredEnergy technical SMEs:· Experience using power system planning tools, such as AURORA, PLEXOS, PROMOD, PSSE, TARA· Strong knowledge of energy and power industry policies and best practices.· Energy program planning and implementation experience.· Understanding of utilities and energy/power generation and supply and sequencing and cause/effects of the energy transition.· Possess significant subject matter knowledge to lead analyses, build capacity of others to do this work, and drive technical conversations (both for business development and delivery).Greenhouse gas inventory/decarbonization planning:· GHG inventory development / emissions measurement across scope 1/2/3. Inclusive of a client's specific organizations and emissions measurement by sector across a state or city (e.g., emissions from agricultural sector / transportation / energy generation).· Experience modeling mitigation activities against business-as-usual emissions projections, including, as necessary, researching emissions reduction potential over time and making informed estimations of co-benefits and co-pollutants.· Experience analyzing emissions and energy use data to identify trends / hotspots / opportunities for intervention.· Experience developing marginal abatement cost curves or cost benefit analyses of these projects to identify the most effective ones and prioritize.· Experience with major public data sources, such as the EPA SIT modules, MOVES, WARMs, Argonne National Laboratory's GREET model, the International Energy Association's Annual Energy Outlook, the US Greenhouse Gas Inventory, tools from the National Census of Agriculture and National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS).Information for applicants with a need for accommodation:#LI-WG1
