RINA is currently recruiting for a North America Marine Business Development Manager to join its office in Sunrose, FL within the Marine Division.Key Accountabilities1. Lead Sales and Client Relationship Management:
- Take a leadership role in driving sales activities.
- Personally manage and nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Opportunity Pipeline Management:
- Monitor and manage the entire pipeline of opportunities within the designated business area.
- Take necessary actions to align the pipeline with commercial targets.
3. Market Analysis and Trend Tracking:
- Track new markets and emerging trends relevant to the business.
- Recommend new products and services based on market insights.
4. Strategic Partnerships:
- Advise, propose, and develop new strategic partnerships.
- Play a key role in expanding the business network through impactful collaborations.
5. Proposal and Business Plan Development:
- Elaborate on proposals and business plans for prospective opportunities.
- Ensure that proposals align with the organization's overall strategic objectives.
6. Coordination with Business Unit Management:
- Collaborate with Business Unit Management to guide long-term objectives.
- Ensure alignment between business development efforts and broader business needs.
7. Cooperation with Business Development Functions:
- Collaborate with Business Development functions within RINA Group.
- Work together to enhance cross-selling and mutual opportunities.
8. Stay Up-to-Date with Offerings and Technology Solutions:
- Keep abreast of RINA's current and future offerings and technology solutions.
- Understand and communicate the value of technological tools, including customer-tailored solutions.9. Identifying and nurturing new business opportunities for short-term and long-term revenue growth.10. Driving sales across the full opportunity cycle, from origination to closing opportunities.11. Analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership (sales forecasts, reports, and presentations).12. A key role in building cross-functional Product Teams, enhancing our goal to put the customer viewpoint at the heart of our product development processes.13. Develop and implement sales processes and procedures to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.EducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Naval EngineeringMissionThe mission of a Business Development Manager functioning as an individual contributor is to play a leadership role in driving sales, cultivating client relationships, and strategically contributing to the growth and success of the business in US and Canada. As an individual contributor, the focus is on personal leadership and direct involvement in various aspects of business development.Qualifications
  • A degree in Business, Marine Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the marine sector.
  • Digitally savvy.
  • Being fluent in English is required, any additional language skills advantageous due to the regional scope of the role.
