2ND & 3RD SHIFT CONTROLS ENGINEER'S NEEDED - HILLSDALE, MICHIGANA Leading Automotive Supplier in the Hillsdale, Michigan area is in need of 2nd & 3rd Shift Controls Engineer's. These are Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Positions offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.RESPONSIBILITIES:-Production Support & Troubleshooting-FANUC Robot handling experience (teaching Points/understanding I-O/file handling/Performing PM)
-The ability to read, understand and follow Electrical schematics of control systems.
-Panel Building experience (Measure and cut, drill and tap, mount or install; HMI s/Coms ports/lighting/transformers/Legs/cord grips/dinrail/back plane/wire duct/ECT)
-Panel Wiring experience
-Allen Bradley PLC S experience, including the ability to follow and understand basic Ladder Logic principles in the RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 platforms.
-Allen Bradley PanelView/PanelViewPlus experience using Factory Talk.
-EthernetIP communication protocol
-Experience in Keyence and banner inspection camera applications.-FANUC Robot programming experience (Including; TCP/DCS/Mastering/BGLogic/Palletizing/Offsetting/PAC codes/Vision/ECT)
-Allen Bradley RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 project development knowledge (including; Firmware/AOI S/Modules/Produce&Consume/UDT/ECT)
-Allen Bradley Factory Talk ME experience (Including; Creating Displays/Firmware/Animation/PLC-HMI Communication/File type manipulation/ECT)
-Laser Marking and reading Experience in 2D data matrix and human readable part identification.
-Inspection Camera experience creating programs using tools and lighting to identify part specific features.
-PLC & SQL Server communication Experience.
-Electrical Schematic Design in AutoCAD
-Cell design, layout, and testing using Robo-Guide
-Cell specific component design and testingEDUCATION:-Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience as Controls Technician in manufacturing.
-2 internships- 1 yr as Controls Engineer in manufacturing; automotive industry a plus.
-Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical controls systems with PLC and HMI programs.
-Adaptive to a fast-paced manufacturing environment; automotive industry a plus.
-Self-starter and ability to work productively in troubleshooting and supporting PLC and HMI programs and other machine control devices.
-Ability to learn, understand and apply corporate standards for equipment and tooling.
-Hands-on mentality in supporting robotics equipment on the Plant floor.
-Ability and willingness to expand mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
-Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
