Social Media Marketing Assistant

- Develop engaging content for each social channel
- Support with the editorial calendar
- Execute social media strategies, detailed plans and content aligned with the brand and business
- Help Marketing Manager with social media campaigns for core products/campaigns
- Stay current with social media trends and incorporate as appropriate to improve the customer experience, drive sales and leverage ongoing customer involvement
- Responsible for graphics designs using Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
- Attend various domestic trade shows as needed
- General administrative tasks to support other departments
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as requested
- Domestic travel to trade shows is required. Approximately one week per month
- Periodic International Travel
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
- 1 - 3 years' experience in Marketing is preferred
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Excellent writing skills including a passion for story telling
- Experience with Adobe InDesign or similar publishing and page layout designing software
- Experience with (trade) media outreach
- Experience in Audio/Video production a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
