Preparing layout based P&ID mark-up (Physicalisation / Mechanisation) (3) Ensuring consistency between P&IDs and Equipment Vendor drawings. Vendor document review.(B) Knowledge Base / Soft Skills(1) Good understanding of :(i) P&IDs(ii) Equipment data sheets and Vendor drawings(iii) Piping layout and routing fundamentals(iv) Piping BOQ (MTO)(v) Pipe supports(vi) Nozzle Orientation principles(vii) Accessibility and maintenance requirements of inline piping components(2) Hands-on experience in(i) Quality requirements ofPiping IsometricsPiping GA drawingsPipe Support drawingsPiping MTO(ii) 3D model navigation in Navisworks Below experience will be an added advantage(a) Exposure to Brownfield / Turnaround / MOC projects involving interfaces with existing facilities.(b) Familiarity of relevant codes and standards.(c) Awareness of Piping Material Specification (PMS) basics.(d) Understanding and interpretation of CAESAR-II reports.(e) Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Paint.JOB DESCRIPTION(C) Position specific requirements(1) Sector Oil & Gas and/or Chemical(2) Educational Qualification Mechanical Engineering Diploma / Trade Certificate from a reputed institute.(3) Software exposure Navisworks(4) Experience 10-15 years experience in Piping Engineering field. Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Piping Detail Engineering of Oil & Gas and/or Chemical projects, executed on a 3D model platform
