- Accurately review and file federal and state tax returns in a timely manner.
- Proactively work with clients to develop tax planning strategies.
- Work with leadership and tax team members to improve and develop processes for tax department and growth.
- Coordinate with onboarding and accounting teams to smoothly integrate tax planning across all phases.
- Complete responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits.
- Monitor developments in tax legislation and prepare action plans as necessary.
- Educate management and staff on relevant tax issues and changes in legislation.
- Encourage and develop relationships across tax and accounting functions to best serve our clients.
- Supervise members of the tax team to ensure that tax returns are completed correctly.
- Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior customer service.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- CPA Licensure
- 4-6 years experience in private/public accounting working with clients in the $1-$10 million in revenues per year range.
- 1-2 years experience as direct manager of staff
- Strong technology skills using Microsoft Office 2016 or later (Word, Excel and Outlook at a minimum, more applications preferred); QuickBooks or other accounting software experience required.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Team player with a positive 'can do' approach.
- A general and growing knowledge of firm services and technology tools.
- Salary range $100,000 - $125,000 (based on experience) plus eligibility in profit sharing plan
