Progressive, comprehensive restorative & aesthetic dental office is looking for a full-time licensed Dental Assistant/Lab Tech to join our team. Our office is state-of-the-art & utilizes Dentrix & digital radiography (VixWin, CT/PANO, 3 Shape Oral Scanner) to focus on aesthetic dentistry in a comfortable & nurturing spa-like atmosphere where patients can feel at home.Ideal Candidate

A current MA Dental Assisting License is required. Lab experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.Responsibilities
This position will be a full-time position consisting of 4 x 10 hr days, 2 of which will be spent focusing on dental assisting, & the other 2 of which will be spent focusing on providing in-house laboratory support to the dentist.Dental Assisting Responsibilities
- Welcome & seat patients, ensuring a positive patient experience throughout the appointment
- Set up & break down operatories for all procedures
- Assist chairside for all dental procedures, including crowns & bridges, composite restorations, implants, extractions, root canals, dentures, taking impressions, & full-arch restorations
- Independently collect diagnostic data for comprehensive exams, including x-rays, photos, impressions, & bite registrations
- Maintain sterilization of all operatories, instruments, & equipment within OSHA Infection Control Standards
- Work with other clinical team members to ensure all tasks are completed safely & efficiently
- Fabricate temporary crowns, bridges, & full arches
- Fabricate essix retainers with or without acrylic teeth, bite guards, clench guards, deprogrammers, soft mouth guards, & custom trays
- Maintain laboratory inventory & equipment, ordering supplies when necessary
- Pour, dress, trim, mount, & pindex models
- Coordinate cases with outside labs, including accurately completing all lab slips & preparing cases for pickup, following up on case progress & return dates, & checking in incoming cases
- Manage patient case record system
- Prepare diagnostic & new patient models with accompanying paperwork for the doctor
- Provide general laboratory support for all procedures
