- Will conduct research activities that support the design of new polymer and cermaics products.
- Will be responsible for developing new metal coated substrate powders.
- Lead the development of coated materials and maintain proper documentation of observations throughout an experiment.
- Analyze and interpret data, write reports and present project updates to the Engineering team.
- Write manufacturing procedures.
- Manage one or more technicians.
- Analyze and solve customer issues with existing products or processes.
- Keep up to date with customers technology by attending conferences and reading patents and peer-review literature.
- Comply with safety standards, company policies and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
- BS/MS or PhD degree in Chemistry, Polymers Science, Material Science or similar.
- Background in Inorganic Chemistry is a must.
- Experience with formulation and process development is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
