Monday Sunday rotating Week 1 Example: Monday and Tuesday on, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday off, Saturday and Sunday on. Week 2 Example: Monday and Tuesday off, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday on, Saturday and Sunday off.GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Associate is responsible for completing maintenance assignments to build, repair, and/or maintain all equipment in good operating condition as quickly and accurately as possible; while keeping associated costs to a minimum to help meet plant goals. The Maintenance Technician is expected to be multi-skilled and able to contribute to plant maintenance activities in a variety of craft disciplines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes projects with minimal guidance showing a proactive attitude to minimize equipment down-time and lost production capability.
Troubleshoots mechanical devices in operation. Dismantles and examines to gain access to remove defective parts. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairs or replaces defective parts.
Sets up and operates shop machinery such as drill press, grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder. etc. Uses hand tools and pneumatic tools to modify or repair parts and equipment.
Installs new or repairs/modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as needed.
Improves reliability and uptime of all equipment. Takes a proactive approach to equipment issues with a preventive maintenance mentality.
Operates forklift and hydraulic working platform as needed.
Researches supplies, parts and machines needed to complete work orders.
Assists in organizing and maintaining an accurate inventory of parts.
Contributes to updating required paperwork such as records, maintenance logs, documents, manuals, drawings, PM logs, etc.
Performs and documents work orders and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
Supports the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
Follows applicable Safety, Health and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing any procedure.
Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED equivalency.
At least one (1) year of experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Self-motivated with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.
Time management skills
Quantitative and statistical skills
Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office products
Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications.
Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Must be able to effectively communicate one-on-one and in small group situations.
Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools, scales, hand trucks, fork lift, utility knife, and mixer/secondary machinery and computer equipment.
Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn the operation and set up of industrial machinery per operating procedures while following all training and plant procedures.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The associate is frequently exposed to vibration.
