For-Profit Tax Senior Accountant

- Performs diversified accounting and tax assignments under the direction of supervisor, manager or partner including the preparation of individual, trust, corporate, partnership and S-corporation tax returns.
- Participates in planning, scheduling and supervising client engagements.
- Determines the extent of review required in a tax return and selects elements to be reviewed.
- Supervises and instructs one or more staff in work to be performed, reviews results, and direct necessary revisions.
- Meets time constraints and client deadlines.
- Preparation and organization of tax working papers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity of tax preparation and accounting tasks.
- Either hold a current and valid certified public accountant's license, or meet the requirements to sit for the CPA exam with a history of efforts to obtain licensure.
- Strong proficiency in ProSystems.
- Experience with international compliance forms is a plus.
- Proficiency in use of computer accounting and tax programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and timelines.
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
