The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is actively recruiting for a full-time faculty position in the Family Focused Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children within the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology.We are seeking a pediatrician with specialized knowledge/skills with the deaf and hard of hearing pediatric population. Must have at least 5 years of experience in working with Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Programs, preferably at the state and/or national level, and experience in counseling families with deaf and hard of hearing children. History of American Sign Language learning a plus. Candidate would possess interest in pursuit of an academic career.Candidates must be board certified and eligible for a Texas Medical License.
