Qualifications
  • Licensure: Florida State Licensure as an APRN or PA
  • Education: MSN, PNP-AC or DNP, DNP, PNP-AC or Masters in Physician Assistant studies
  • Certifications: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care or PA; BLS and/or PALS
  • Experience: 1+ years working as NP or PA in pediatric acute care setting required
Schedule: Evening shifts and weekend work requiredLocation: Tampa Outpatient Care ClinicPosition Summary:Provides patient centered, specialized, evidence based nursing care across the continuum through an inter-professional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy. APPs are board-certified providers that assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization, promotion, and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury. APPs contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy.APPs assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization, promotion, and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury under the supervision of a physician.
