- BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- PE License a plus but not required.
- 5+ years of building and industrial experience in a consulting engineering design firm setting.
- Experience with Federal and Government projects a plus.
- Experience with a broad range of electrical engineering designs such as power distribution, control, communication, and lighting design including evaluation of existing power and control systems, electrical specifications, lighting, and load calculations.
- Track record of successful design, quality control and construction administration.
- Be a quick, flexible thinker and problem-solver who is accustomed to working in fluid teams on tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM/Revit.
- Ability to obtain government clearances.

- Research, plan and design a variety of electrical systems for buildings and structures for government, industrial and commercial clients.
- Prepare code compliant plans and coordinate drawings for a broad range of designs including power distribution, control, communication, and lighting design. Projects also include evaluation of existing power and control systems, electrical specifications, lighting, and load calculations.
- Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary design teams, primarily in-house but also with subconsultants.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to prepare presentations and produce documents from schematic design through to the construction phase.
- Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's.
