- Lead a team of digital strategy analysts, providing coaching and support to drive performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including marketing, sales, IT, other divisions) as well as customers and dealers, to integrate digital initiatives into broader business strategies.
- Collaborate with external organizations, conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats so that we stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.
- Lead partnership discussions with 3rd parties to help us reach our digital goals.
- Produce digital benchmarking assessment to inform both strategic direction as well as identify capabilities needing developed
- Define and prioritize digital capabilities that the business needs to be focused on developing
- Create thorough business cases for future work needing to be done based on capability prioritization
- Ensure digital strategy is enabling the optimal customer experience by maintaining innate understanding of customer segmentation, personas and journey mapping
- Maintains 5-10year digital roadmap
- Define and track strategic operating measures (SOMs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of the digital business.
- Elevate, inform and recommend key strategic decisions to executive leadership.
- Creates presentation material and conducts presentations during key meetings and seminars.
- Maintains close collaboration with other Komatsu regions on global digital strategy and roadmap.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Mathematics or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in a strategic, digital, or consultative role, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital strategies that drive business growth and achieve KPIs.
- Strong leadership skills can inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and develop individuals.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, innovatively and to simplify complex situations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and digital channels
- Experience leading and managing projects/initiatives that produce ROI and performance optimization.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
