Poste proposé : Reliability EngineerReporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Reliability Engineer will be responsible for providing expertise focused on reliability, condition monitoring, improvement strategies and tactics that enable cost-effective, timely and safe maintenance to occur, and ensuring assets are consistently available to meet the operational plan requirements.Responsibilities:
  • Using data and reliability principles to focus improvement effort in obtaining optimal availability of the equipment
  • Build reports and delver presentations to management
  • Undertake reliability performance evaluations, predictions and standardised reporting
  • Actively participate in various safety activities
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Clearly write reports detailing work performed and problems found
  • Work with the Maintenance Superintendent to establish an operating budget
  • Ensure all charges remain within budget, report on cost variances and identify cost savings opportunities
  • Plan, approve and monitor any expenditure under your authority
  • Promote and adhere to appropriate internal methodologies, policies, procedures and standards
  • Consistently maintain a high quality of work within the maintenance team
  • Provide input regarding improvement opportunities and areas of risk
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (including Company Policy, Standards, and Procedures) through training and development of staff and promoting by example.
Profil recherché pour le poste : Reliability EngineerRequirements:
  • Minimum Diploma, Certificate in Maintenance and Reliability
  • Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance background
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Reliability
  • Minimum 3 years in Condition Based monitoring
  • Highly skilled in Conducting Oil sampling, Vibration analysis, Thermography inspection and Thickness testing
  • Non-destructive Testing
  • Set up and implement monitoring and analysis of reporting systems and performance
  • Experience in Asset Management Risk Reduction / Elimination programs such as RCA and FMEA systems
  • French language skills desired and essential
  • Experience within the mining sector in Africa preferred
  • Working experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and build effective relationships and networks
  • Demonstrates strong conceptual skills, and be capable of developing lateral and practical solutions
  • Ability to respond to a changing work environment
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time
  • A Reputation for integrity and ethics.
