GPAC has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Commercial Roofing Estimator and Sales professional.Estimator and SalesCurrently an industry leading roofing company is looking for energetic and positive individual to help lead our estimating department as an Estimator/Salesperson.The incumbent Estimator/Salesperson will become an essential team player, in the designing and building of highly complicated and specialized roofs. The Estimator/Salesperson will need strong aptitude for sales, as well as a willingness to work hard, will ensure the incumbent becomes a key factor in our organization.Role/Responsibilities:Candidates should have some knowledge in a few of these areas: reading blueprints, knowledge of the pre-bid preparation, take-offs and obtaining sub-contractor quotes.Candidates will work with clients including: Design Build, General Contractors, Architects, Building Owners, Engineering Firms, Construction Managers, Management Companies, Roof Consultants and Developers.Knowledge and Skills Required:Minimum of a 2- Year degree; 4 -Year degree is preferredMinimum of 1 or 2 years’ experience in salesExcellent, communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback.Proficiency with Microsoft programs, estimating software (i.e. Edge)Working knowledge of AutoCAD is needed.Must be a highly motivated salespersonQualitative and Other Attributes Required:A passion doing high quality work.The ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems.High attention to detail.Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.Being able to self-start and self-motivate when there is no one available to provide instruction.Capacity to handle pressure.Strong work ethic and the ability to handle peak work timesBase salary + sales commission programHours (Full-time): Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pmJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Base + CommissionsBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsSupplemental pay types:Commission payEducation: Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Construction Estimating: 1 year (Preferred)Auto Estimating: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One locationTake the next step in your career.
