Quality Technician - Muskegon

- Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Investigate and resolve any quality issues or complaints
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Calibrate and maintain all lab equipment and testing tools (calipers, height gauges, CMMs)
- Work with production team to implement and maintain quality measures and processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality standards are being met throughout the company
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate defects and improve processes
- Communicate with customers and supplies to address quality issues and concerns
- Create quality reports and documentation
- Other duties as assigned by management team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in a quality control role preferred, especially with metal stamping or springs
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software applications
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and TS 16949 quality standards preferred
