Projects to reduce CO2 footprint or convert residual materials into valuable products.They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced E&I Engineer to join their team in Botlek, Rotterdam. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) discipline, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of their facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of their projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of E&I equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize the performance and reliability of E&I assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning, execution, and commissioning activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the E&I discipline.
  • Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as an E&I Engineer in an industrial setting, preferably within the petrochemical sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation principles, practices, and standards.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools for design, analysis, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent in Dutch, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
