- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Middle School and Upper School divisions and assist the administrative team as well as the faculty in a support capacity.
- Oversee grades 5, 6, and 7 lunch periods in the cafeteria.
- Assist Head of Middle School and Head of Upper School with calendar and scheduling.
- Assist with transportation coordination for families
- Cover classes when needed.
- Maintain an organized, clean, neat, professional, welcoming office and surrounding hall.
- Order all office supplies as well as keeping supplies organized.
- Maintain photocopier/laminator supplies and coordinate repairs.
- Answer phone, including taking messages for faculty and communicating student absences to faculty and Health Director
- Relay important announcements and information to the faculty and students when necessary.
- Communicate with the various administrative departments when required e.g. Communications, Senior Leadership, Dwight School Foundation, Events Manager, etc.
- Maintain and update the various Google docs and calendars.
- Assist the Head of Middle School and Head of Upper School with the planning of various events e.g. Assemblies, Community Times, themed weeks, etc.
- Assist in all additional matters that support both divisions.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 2-3 years of office work experience
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; strong attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines
- Ability to work either independently and collaboratively as needed
- Ability to interact with students, parents, and faculty and staff in a professional manner
