Practices medicine as part of the Physician directed team in those areas directed to do so by their physician group. Provides care to patients in various states of health and/or illness under the scope of practice developed with their physician group.EDUCATION:Successful completion of educational program recognized by the national Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, certification as a Vermont Physician Assistant through completion of Board approved apprenticeship and evaluation or graduation from the board-approved P.A. program. Must have P.A. and Bachelor’s Degree. Successful completion of a CAAHEP approved PA educational program. NCCPA certification is expected. Must hold certification from the Vt. Board of Medical Practice as a PA. Must have a bachelor's degree, master degree preferred.EXPERIENCE:Previous experience as a physician assistant desired.
