Now hiring for Fall 2024 tutoring!Get a head start on onboarding and training for Fall 2024 tutoring sessions.We are looking for Educators (A current and valid US K12 Teaching License is REQUIRED ) with a passion for ELA and/or Math for our Tutor Team! This is a part-time (10-40 hrs) VERY flexible Tutor role. We are open to all availability both during and after school hours and even Saturdays!All virtual tutoring is paid at $35/hr.We would also love bilingual tutors in any language- Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Latin, etc.An ELA/Math Tutor Instructor is an experienced, creative, and knowledgeable educator who will provide virtual academic support to a diverse group of elementary, middle, or high school students covering various topics. The Tutor Instructor will provide regular support to students virtually, in a one-on-one or a small group setting of up to 8 students per group. The tutoring service is designed to provide academic instruction via a safe and secure online video conferencing platform for students in different time increments, ranging from 15- minute to 60-minute sessions.One of the main perks of this role - flexible hours! Work when you want to work, based on your schedule. We have opportunities on the East Coast and West Coast after school and on Saturdays. We also have districts interested in tutoring during the school day. Tutor Instructors can make their own schedule!WHAT YOUR TUTORING SESSIONS WILL LOOK LIKE:
  • Meet With and Motivate Students: Tutor Instructors will work one on one or with small groups of students to provide support in their designated math as needed. Tutor Instructors will interact virtually with students to engage, develop and demonstrate coursework and ensure understanding of the concepts presented. Tutor Instructors will offer encouragement and support to keep students motivated and ready to learn.
  • Data-Driven Support: Tutor Instructors may use data as well as other resources to provide support to students during their one on one or small group sessions.
