- Provide support for Stormwater and Green Infrastructure design and Natural Systems projects.
- Collect, synthesize, analyze, and present data.
- Prepare design drawings, specifications and cost and schedule estimates.
- Generate reports for analysis, design, and permitting.
- Perform GIS mapping and analysis.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
- Complete design calculations.
- Construction engineering and site supervision.
- Manage tasks on multi-disciplinary projects, including input on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary, team-driven setting, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate independent work capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- 4 or more years experience in Water Resources Engineering. Relevant professional work experience in hydrology, Low Impact Development (LID), hydraulic analyses, stormwater treatment, roadway drainage, or other similar emphasis is highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience with the application of water resource models such as SWMM, HSPF, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), and SRH2D.
- Proficiency with the preparation of construction documents for project designs and permits supported by hydrologic, and hydraulic calculations.
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation (not required, but a plus), Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong independent work ethic.
