- You hold a Higher university degree (Master or equivalent diploma offering 300 ECTS) in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related scientific discipline. A PhD would be an asset.
- Proven experience in beamline alignment and operation, data acquisition, data processing, Python computer programming.
- A minimum of five years of experience in high-energy X-ray powder diffraction. Knowledge of Topas software for powder diffraction analysis is essential.
- Ability to interact with multi-disciplinary staff and facility users.
- English proficiency (working language at the ESRF).
- Good scientific writing skills are an asset.
