- Teaches typical load of 12 semester-hours of undergraduate courses each semester in the area of political science in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats.
- Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement.
- Provides advisement, and academic support to students as needed.
- Maintains classes related records and assesses student coursework.
- Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities.
- Participates in departmental, college, and university required activities.
- Requires a master's degree inclusive 18 hours in Political Science or related field.
- Teaching experience at undergraduate level in traditional classroom setting and /or online.
- An established research interest to seek publications in refereed journals and other scholarly sources.
- A commitment to student engagement and academic success.
- Ability to communicate effectively, participate in departmental and university activities, and mentor students.
- Earned D. from accredited institution.
- Three (3) or more years of experience
- Ability to interactively engage students to develop their enhanced critical thinking
- Skill in communication at all levels and student.
