Case Management
- Coordinate and manage a caseload of students who are on academic probation, academic watch, or academic warning, or who are admitted or re-admitted on probation/watch/warning. Meet individually with students to develop structured Student Success Plans to help them return to good academic standing.
- Utilize enrollment management systems to track academic progress, provide academic interventions, and make referrals when necessary. This includes regular usage of Slate, Banner, DARS, Starfish, BlackBoard, etc.
- Conduct individualized follow-up sessions to assist students with identifying what caused their GPA to drop below a 2.0, calculate estimated GPA to return to good academic standing, review the student's financial aid Satisfactory Academic Status (SAP) and assist with SAP appeal letters.
- Utilize the Universities Early Alert System (Starfish) in a timely manner to remain informed regarding students' academic progress and facilitate intervention based on issues and concerns reported by their instructors.
- Facilitate student connections with other departments on campus including Admissions, the Career Center, Peer Mentors, Financial Aid, Counseling Center, tutoring, and all other student-serving departments.
- Assist with staffing Enrollment Management events including, Enrollment Extravaganzas, Discover Days, High School Visits, New Student and Transfer Orientation, and other enrollment initiatives.
- Maintain student files, records, and data in accordance with federal, state, system, and college operating policies and protocols, and stay current on applicable laws, policies and procedures (e.g. FERPA, Title V, and the Code of Federal Regulations).
- Collect data on caseload of probation/watch/warning students. Generate end-of- semester and annual reports based on student success, persistence, and retention. Run semester reports and coordinate communication to students, staff, and faculty.
- Update student status in Banner to reflect accurate academic standing
- Maintain and update program documents and forms utilized by coordinator and student.
- Other duties as assigned and professional development

- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Experience presenting information both individually and in group settings
- Experience in a position requiring proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience in a position requiring excellent communication skills, organizational skills, multitasking skills
- Experience in a position requiring relationship building and mentoring of students, with attention to detail
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Experience working successfully in a team environment and with a diverse population of students
- Experience working with high school or college students
- Experience advising at an institution of higher education
- Experience with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
