OverviewThis role is hybrid.Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a Sr Software Engineer for Oracle Retail who will play a key role in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex business problems by delivering simple, robust and maintainable solutions using continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.The role entails contributing to SaaS platform configuration, integration, and extension strategies along with optimizing and enhancing capabilities across legacy and emerging Line of Business (LOB) applications in the procurement, inventory, invoicing, pricing, and promotions spaces.Responsibilities· Design, develop and configure full-stack development building robust Product platforms.· Work across engineering pods to align on SaaS, COTS, and legacy on-prem capabilities enablement and integration for the Merchandising domain (product MDM, hierarchies, cost, procurement, inventory, supply chain, sales, etc)· Develop RESTful API’s using proven design principles and patterns.· Work in an Agile/Scrum test driven development environment.· Perform unit and functional tests for the code developed to pass quality code to QA.· Work effectively with other members to build scalable applications with best practices.· Work collaboratively with other development staff, including contract and offshore Software Engineers, and business product owners in an agile environment.· Code, test, identify, implement, and document solutions to business challenges utilizing web and cloud technologies.· Independently perform analysis, design, and development for deliverables.· Utilize third-party software development frameworks, open-source libraries, and APIs to rapidly develop basic application solutions.· Learn and keep pace with the latest advances in the field and rapidly grasp new technologies to support the environment and contribute to project deliverables.· Mentor junior peers on engineering best practicesQualificationsMust-have:Technicalo Minimum 5 years of experience in building full-stack and/or SaaS enablement development.o Minimum 5 years of experience in building and enabling integrations using SaaS or Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software packages, preferably Oracle Retail technologies such as MFCS, PCS, ReIMCS, SACS, RICS, BDI, and POM, or their on-prem equivalents such as RMS, RTM, RPM, ReIM, ReSA, and RIB.o Good understanding of working with JSON along with UI based tech-stack.o Solid Oracle SQL experienceo Strong familiarity with JSON and XML data Formatso Knowledge in Asynchronous messaging and event driven architectures.o Comfortability in writing business logic extensions to commercial SaaS solutions using back-end and front-end technologies.Industry / domain:o Platform engineering and integration experience with a leading SaaS ERP, such as SAP S4/HANA, JDA BlueYonder, or Oracle Retail.o Domain knowledge with Merchandising concepts including Product Master Data, Stock Ledger, Cycle Counts, Supply Chain transaction processing, and price/promotion management.o Documenting all work in a clear and concise manner, including detailed technical specifications and user manuals.o Conducting thorough testing to ensure that all implementations are stable and performant.Nice-to-have:o Familiarity with integration solutions such as Dell Boomi, Kafka, and GoAnywhere.o Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Chef etc.) is a plus.o Solid PL/SQL, and BI Publisher reportingo Experience with JIRA for work item managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:· Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field and 8 years of related work experience.#LI-JM1#LI-HYBRIDBenefitsThe annual base salary range is $90000 - $130000 / yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
