- Estimate costs for structural steel erection projects accurately and efficiently.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
- Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs based on project scope and complexity.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for submission to clients.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Experience in estimating structural steel erection projects.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
