They are responsible for working closely with Product Owners to ensure that team members are working on the highest priority work items defined within their respective roadmaps. Scrum Masters prepare deliverables and artifacts that highlight the progress accomplished by teams (velocity, sprint and feature burn ups / burn downs, cumulative flow reports, etc.) and are responsible for presenting those artifacts as needed.The Scrum Master works very closely with agile teams, business, and leadership to resolve team level impediments and manage risk. The Scrum Master has a strong understanding of Agile Scrum and Kanban principles and practices. Scrum Masters are also responsible for providing hands-on coaching to support the adoption of agile practices and identifying opportunity areas for continuous improvement.
