This is a casual position which is subject to renewal by 06/30/2024.This position can be filled by a Social Worker I, II, or III.JOB SUMMARY:The Social Worker I (MSW) / Social Worker II (LCSW) applies principles of Social Work and other behavioral health practices to provide patients and families with assessment, interventions, support, advocacy, and case management as a primary provider and/or as ancillary support to the primary medical provider. In all departments, practices as a member of multi-disciplinary team, in the provision of clinical intervention and support to patients and families. The Social Worker assesses, develops treatment plans, and intervenes to address the needs identified in the assessment and by the Team. Utilizes knowledge of culture, age, and developmental stages to develop treatment plans and provide interventions, either as an independent practitioner or as a member of a clinical team. Also may provide support and debriefing to RCHSD staff following traumatic events. The Social Worker I may provide supervision to Social Work and/or MFTT Interns, at the discretion of the Supervisor and as allowed by the academic institution. The Social Worker II, as assigned, will provide supervision to Interns and unlicensed staff and may also participate in administrative duties, as assigned by the Supervisor.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:SOCIAL WORKER I (ACSW, AMFT, APCC)Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Therapy, or related fieldRegistration with the State of California as an ACSW or AMFT or APCC, as appropriate Must obtain registration number within 6 months of hireCA Driver's License and Proof of Auto Insurance, if applicable1 year of experience and/or 1 year pediatric professional experienceSOCIAL WORKER II (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Therapy, or related fieldLicensure in the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)CA Driver's License and Proof of Auto Insurance, if applicable2 years of experience and/or 2 years pediatric professional experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:3 years of experience (SWI) or 4 years of experience (SWII)Experience in assessments and treatment of children and adolescentsExperience in trauma, bereavement, chronic illness, catastrophic diagnosis, family violence, child protection, and bio-ethical issuesExperience working in an acute-care hospital settingCertification in Clinical Supervision in the State of CaliforniaKnowledge of evidence-based practices utilized in clinical interventionsJOB SUMMARY:The Social Worker III applies principles of Social Work and other behavioral health practices to provide patients and families with assessment, interventions, support, advocacy and case management as a primary provider and/or as ancillary support to the primary medical provider. Takes lead to model professional guidance and integrity for the programs and division at large. This is exemplified by providing support and debriefing to RCHSD staff as needed. Must provide supervision to interns and unlicensed staff. Will provide ongoing education and training to SW I and SW II. Assist leadership in program development and quality improvement initiatives to support the development of programs, the continuum of care to the children/teens and families across all RCHSD programs.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Master's DegreeArea of Study in a Field Related to the Position2 Years of Experience2 years experience required post licensureLicensed in the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or PsychologistCA driver's license and proof of auto insurance, if applicable3 years of experience in pediatric environment; assessment and treatment of children and adolescents requiredMust maintain a minimum of .9 FTECompletion of Clinical Supervision training in the State of California requiredCertification or advance training in evidence-based practices specific to the needs of population served (TFCBT, PCIT, CPP) requiredTraining in SI Prevention/Means Assessment and Safety planning requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 3 years clinical supervisionCertified Trainer in evidence-based practiceThe expected hiring range for the Social Worker I (MSW) position is $34.13 to $46.93The expected hiring range for the Social Worker II position is $35.84 to $49.28The expected hiring range for the Social Worker III position is $37.63 to $51.75Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
