to fill an opening with a prestigious Healthcare company in Huntington, WV area.Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacist:
- Reviews physician medication orders to ensure the suitability of the drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Suggests therapy modifications to physicians and facility staff as necessary.
- Maintains a patient/resident database, including comprehensive current and past medical history, relevant clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter drugs and home remedies).
- Ensures the appropriate laboratory tests for monitoring high-risk conditions are ordered, assessed, and discussed with relevant healthcare team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacist
- Experience filling IV medications
- 1-5 years of experience as a Pharmacist
- Experience packing IV meds
- LTC and Retail experience
- Medical, Dental, Vision
- Robust PTO package
