- Strategic Thinking: Craft and oversee the execution of a comprehensive content marketing strategy and quarterly editorial calendar that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across all platforms for Hawaii-based business owners.
- Content Production: Understand and navigate the nuances of producing high-quality content (multi-format/multi-channel), ensuring optimal utilization of resources, developing repeatable processes and maximizing output. Manage copywriting freelancers.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor content performance analytics, providing actionable insights and refining the content strategy accordingly.
- Social Media Mastery: Deepen our brand's presence and engagement across all relevant social media platforms; remain updated with the latest trends, ensuring our strategies are always ahead of the curve.
- Brand Consistency: Uphold brand consistency and integrity across all content and communication channels.
- Collaboration: Partner with other departments (e.g. sales, service, account management) to ensure content strategy aligns with overall company goals and customer needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally locally-based in Hawaii but also open to remote.
- Organizational experience developing and executing against a cohesive roadmap that aligns with the broader marketing strategy.
- Proven experience in content production, understanding how to efficiently produce high-quality content with limited resources.
- A clear and generous passion for storytelling, a deep grasp of digital marketing, and an innate ability to drive brand narratives

- Demonstrated a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Driven consistency and adoption of a brand voice and tone across all content initiatives=
- Strong project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and oversee content marketing campaigns from conception to completion. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing compelling marketing content for various channels and audiences.
- Experience building strong cross-functional relationships and alignment to determine and achieve organizational priorities.
- Experience working with Canva, Hubspot, Wordpress, Adobe Creative Suite and other marketing tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of the HR industry and PEO services is preferred but not required.
