Support Worker - casual hours (Whanganui) - night-time awake shifts 11pm-7amPLEASE NOTE: being employed as a casual worker means that you do not have guaranteed minimum hours of work. You are offered shifts that become available and you are free to accept or decline them as suits you.This casual Support Worker position is seeking candidates available to work night shifts.Mō te tūnga | About the roleThe role of a Support Worker involves providing assistance to individuals in developing their independence and acquiring skills for daily living. This includes tasks like helping them with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation. Depending on the specific work environment, Support Workers may also assist with individual needs such as shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration.Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
  • Ideally, some experience of working as a caregiver
  • Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.
  • Possession of a full NZ driver's license is a 'must have'.
  • A full NZ drivers licence or an international drivers licence is a 'must have'.
