We are a full-service contractor for the New England area, specializing in both water-based and chemical suppression systems, as well as fire alarms and extinguishers. This position will be responsible for delivering material and assisting the Warehouse.Job Responsibilities
Make deliveries daily into Boston and surrounding communities
Receives and processes tools and material for the branch
Assists in ensuring material is available for the shop
Pulls material for each job in accordance with the Material list or verbal/written instructions
Operates shop equipment accordance with safety requirements
Reports problems and discrepancies to Management
Always maintains a clean and orderly work area
Assists the Shop Foreman as required
Job Qualifications
Good mathematical skills with the ability to read a tape measure and add/subtract fractions
Good communication, organizational, reading and time management skills
Clean driving record
Certificates or Licenses:
Must have a MASS DOT Health Card
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift to 50 pounds by self and up to 100 pounds assisted (with another person or mechanical assistance)
Ability to climbs ladders up to 6 feet
Ability to drive a fork-lift
Shop environment with exposure to outside elements during all seasons
