Performs moderately complex testing, troubleshooting and acceptance of production, deliverable material on pre-production and development systems, infrared devices, lowest replaceable unit, circuit cards, subs, final assemblies and components.**Must be able to successfully pass a Technical interview**Responsibilities to Anticipate:As required, works with engineering personnel with normal levels of support and supervision.Works to prints, sketches, schematics, specifications, process sheets, and outlines.Utilizes diversified test and measurement equipment and supports multiple setups simultaneously.May work under environmental extremes.Working with verbal, written, video or computer-based procedures and a knowledge of electronic theory, acquires, transports, and sets up test equipment and test conditions.Applies knowledge of electronic theory, diagnostic aids, specifications, and manuals to isolate failures in both the unit under test and associated test equipment to lowest replaceable unit or component.May perform rework, inspection and re-inspection incidental to test and as required, to return defective unit under test to operational condition in compliance with specification.Transports equipment, hardware and repair material between work departments as required.Loads and unloads UUT’s (units under test) using cranes, hoists, and lifts and other mechanical lifting devisesMaintains associated peripheral equipment, tools and fixtures incidental to test process in proper operating condition and in accordance with general housekeeping guidelines.Performs inspection of material utilizing test equipment, hand tools and other mechanical tools.Performs all marking, stenciling, and painting as required by process.Fabricates special-purpose jigs, fixtures, and adapters.Performs daily/weekly test station calibrations as required.Tunes and pots RF modules.Performs DITMCO continuity testing and troubleshooting across all product types, including sub-assemblies and deliverable assembliesIdentifies deficiencies and makes suggestions to improve product reliability and quality.Performs all duties contained in Test Operator C classification as directed.Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties.Performs other similar duties as required or directed.Machine, Tools and Equipment used but not limited to: Computer terminals/programs, microscopes/magnifiers, various automatic, semiautomatic and manual electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, vibration, and environmental test/measurement/diagnostic equipment, soldering, potting equipment, solvents, chemicals, fixtures, common hand tools, ladders, staging, hoists, gauges, power equipment, and other tools and equipment of the trade.Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).1 - 2 years of specialized electronics education OR minimum of 2 years of experience in both electronics test and troubleshooting.The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. - Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
- Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
- Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
