Manage and control the quality and environment management systems via the development of relevant procedures
Ensure compliance with procedures via audit, including implementing programs for continuous improvement of product quality and process efficiency, applying relevant advanced statistical techniques to the analysis of test or process data
Responsibility for process and technical issues within the plant, and the management of its process engineering department and staff
Where necessary, to liaise with external technical agencies, bodies and committees where appropriate and to sit on national geosynthetics committees as required
What You'll Need
Good understanding of quality and environmental management systems (QMS/EMS)
Good understanding and experience of relevant geosynthetic testing methods and standards, or transferable experience from a related industry
Previous experience of a similar role in a volume manufacturing environment with at least five years of industrial experience
Good understanding and experience of deploying modern manufacturing and quality improvement techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, process capability studies, FMEA, SPC, DOE/Taguchi, etc.)
A high degree of competence in the field of statistical process analysis is required
Your Education
Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
