No sponsorship available.ABOUT THE POSITIONWe are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Cisco and Spine-Leaf architecture to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of our network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on network expert proficient in small to medium sized data center environments, WAN technologies, and network security, capable of architecting reliable, high-performance solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage Spine-Leaf networks using Cisco technologies, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Implement and maintain secure, high-performance networks across multi-vendor platforms including firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and WAN optimization tools.
- Collaborate with teams to align network solutions with business needs, delivering reliable and secure services.
- Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues swiftly to maintain optimal uptime.
- Lead network security efforts, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and contribute to network evolution strategies.
- Provide documentation of network architecture, policies, and processes.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for network support.
- 6+ years in network engineering, with a focus on data centers and Spine-Leaf architecture.
- Expertise with Cisco switching and routing technologies.
- Strong knowledge of eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, and WAN technologies.
- Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and Meraki cloud-managed networks.
- Ability to manage large-scale projects from planning to execution, ensuring network performance and security.
- Network automation experience (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) preferred.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, VCTA-NV.
- Experience with public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with networking for containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
