Growing together.This position will be responsible for supporting care management product and operations reporting to the Director of Quality for UMR. The regulatory adherence consultant will be responsible for utilization management state licensing filings, letter regulatory adherence and regulatory support.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the collection of data for regulatory filings, coordinate and develop reports, projects, and assessment tools to verify compliance
  • Serves as a liaison to UMR UM and ensures that the documents are provided to UHC Legal in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assists with letter production processes
  • Liaison with UMR Account Management and clients around UM compliance
  • Assist with identification of and implementation of state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Establish positive working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Drive excellence in service within organization and external partners
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • 3+ years of experience with regulatory requirements and filings
  • 3+ years of experience working in a complex matrixed work environment with competing priorities
  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Proven excellent verbal, writing/proofreading and editing skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
