Our client is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to collaborate with cross-functional leadership in support of the evolution of a great organization. This role will have a heavily slant towards the cash management aspects of treasury (cash receipts posting, wire transfers, etc.), along with owning the cash forecasting process. However, there will be additional focus on supporting debt compliance and insurance/risk management. The ideal candidate will be someone proficient at the detail, while also being excited about learning and growing to take on additional, more challenging tasks. The position resides within a well-established manufacturing organization currently in the midst of a finance transformation initiative, so patience and passion with evolving controls and processes is a must. Senior Treasury Analyst Job Duties:
  • Monitor cash balances and forecast cash flows across various timeframes to ensure operational liquidity.
  • Execute or oversee daily cash positioning activities, including fund transfers as needed.
  • Optimize bank account structures to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Assist with administration of insurance claims processing and annual policy renewals.
  • Prepare bank account reconciliations, wire transfers, and regular cash reports.
  • Post transactions into company subledgers and general ledgers accurately.
  • Maintain supplier bank information within relevant systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within treasury functions.
  • Generate periodic reports on cash flows, liquidity positions, and financial risks for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to accurately record and report treasury transactions.
  • Support annual audits of consolidated financial statements and 401(k) Retirement Plan by working with auditors.
Senior Treasury Analyst Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA or professional certifications like CTP a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial operations or accounting with a focus on cash management.
  • Familiarity with various financial software systems, banking platforms, and financial instruments.
  • Experience with MS Office suite and ERP systems preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks independently and adhere to organizational policies.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial processes.
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills essential for effective collaboration and information exchange.
