Job DetailsJob Location: 7388 Pmpno Bch Federal N - Pompano Beach, FLPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: UndisclosedDescriptionYour Purpose:YouFit’s Assistant General Manager plays a key role in the overall success of their gym through weekend revenue generation, driving the member experience, and managing daily operations within your gym.At YouFit we believe showing up is what we do. Results happen.Compensation: $39,500/year + Commissions + Monthly Bonus PotentialWhat You will do:Weekend performance goals - Manager on DutyAchieve supplementary revenue growth (Retail, upgrades)Ultimately responsible for all aspects of operations that contribute to member retention (Friendly, clean, well maintained).Successfully recruit & provide onboarding employee training to new team members.Provides General Manager reporting on continued education and development of staff members.Manage administrative responsibilities including club orders, processes, procedures, and day to day functions within all operations departments.Oversight of gym maintenance, gym facility cleanliness, and budget management.Manage & Responsible for the Maintenance Specialists performance to the extent of, but not limited to, hiring/recruiting efforts, performance management, and administrative actions leading up to termination.Create and maintain the staff schedule according to YouFit Gyms standards and the club’s needs.Responsible for all member and facility issues. Must maintain all club logs and work orders.Must maintain all records per local and federal legal requirements.Maintain an aesthetically pleasing gym. This includes visual displays, special events, inventory controls, cleanliness and maintenance within your 4 walls and the surrounding grounds.Communicate with your General Manager and HQ regarding any outstanding issues or needs of the club.Must be available and reachable by their staff, leaders, and Headquarters.You will be required to have reliable transportation to and from work. You will also be required to travel within the immediate area of your location to complete weekly marketing requirements, travel to company meetings and events, and daily bank deposits.What You will bring to the team:At least 6 months directly managing a team of multiple employees.Knowledge and training of a formal sales system (preferred).Experience in sales and operations management or lead role.Experience recruiting, interviewing, and developing your own team.Organized, flexible and resourceful.Exceptional communication skills.Experience dealing directly with customers as well as vendors.Projects a professional and healthy image through dress, behavior and attitudeMust have the ability to maintain the Point of Sale system (POS)Ability to stand for extended periods of timeMust fulfill minimum production requirements every monthMust be proficient in written and spoken English languageExperience in the fitness industry (preferred).Physical effort required to carry out daily duties such as lifting supplies and gym equipment potentially in excess of 50lbs.Why we are a Fit for You:We care about your personal and professional goals:Our compensation includes additional bonus potentialNEW!
