AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced individual to fulfill a Supervisor role for a fabrication warehouse that is located in Kilgore, TX!Shift: 6am-4pm
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Compensation: $28-$34Responsibilities:
  • Work with operations leadership to develop, maintain, and improve the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs and metrics that drive business behavior.
  • Develop and coach team leads on the importance of communication, operational metrics, business ethics, and leadership.
  • Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and quality through the development and creation of SOPs, continuous training and development of employees, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
  • Provide a work environment that prioritizes safety through proactive safety improvements, leading safety talks, reporting and tracking all near misses, training, and incident reporting and investigation.
  • Responsible for training all employees in the proper use of personal protective equipment and the safe operation of job related tools and functions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, productive, efficient, and safe workplace through implementing common sense organizational processes, 5S methodology, and daily cleaning systems.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards through training, SOP creation and adherence, root cause problem solving and corrective action, and accountability.
  • Develop shop schedule with operations and supply chain staff for all known and anticipated work. Execute schedule based on staffing and material resources for maximum efficiency & productivity.
  • Plan, assign and direct work to verify and ensure conformance to safety requirements, specifications, drawings, procedures, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, sketches and work orders to employees.
  • Recommend and execute measures to improve safety procedures, production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Utilize data and lean principles to streamline production flow, increase efficiency, and improve safety and quality
  • Hands-on work alongside shop employees on all shop projects to maintain high quality, on time delivery, safety, and cost efficiency
  • Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate protective gear.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of related experience required.
  • Experience/ knowledge of welding methods, millwright, tubing, screw-piping, painting and I/O panel instrumentation.
  • Experience in gas compression or related oil field industry a PLUS!
Qualifications:
  • Must have experience and training using lean/continuous improvement methodology.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with managers, customers, and employees regarding sales, engineering designed, materials and logistical support.
  • Must be willing to work overtimes in the evenings and weekends when required.
