What the role is:We are searching for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer, who will be responsible to support, refine and maintain the standards of project management best practices within HTX. The jobholder is required to know and understand the setup of the technology environment & landscape, the policies and standards affecting this environment & landscape and associated risks and/or impact. The jobholder shall support to review Project requirements, deliverables & artifacts to monitor & track in alignment to the quality assurance metrics. The QA engineer plays an integrated and essential role in organisation's Process Management & Product Development Framework.What you will be working on:
  • To establish and/or refine quality procedures, policies, and documentation in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. • To assist & support in the implementation and enforcement of Quality Management best practice for ICT Systems. • To assist & support in promoting a Quality mindset, awareness, and culture throughout the organisation. • To ensure compliance and implementation of quality assurance standards and procedures. • To collaborate with other departments/sections on departmental/sectional improvement projects to improve productivity, eliminate operational waste and increase efficiency of work. • To collaborate and participate in all assigned Audit programs where applicable and necessary. • To support enforcing effective communication and social-interaction across all departments/sections whenever necessary. • To support overall changes in relation to manage and implement the new ICT systems and digitalisation initiatives. • To facilitate project activities for a smooth rollout of the system. • To support on the change process for system enhancements and managing Suppliers in their deliverables. • To manage user expectations, maintain good rapport and understand users' requirements. • To collect and analyse quality data, including metrics, customer feedback, and non-conformance reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
What we are looking for:
  • Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related subject. • Previous experience in quality assurance, quality management systems, or a related role. • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams, such as Project/Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain, to address quality concerns and implement improvements. • At least 3 years of working experience preferably in Quality Management, Governance, Risk and Compliance Management. • Prior experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management. • Prior experience in Project Management. • Prior experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance. • Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and frameworks. • Experience with quality audits and conducting internal or external audits. • Experience working in a Traditional and Agile/Scrum development process. • Self-starter and can work independently. • Ability to identify deviations and anomalies in processes or products. • Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and changes in quality standards and regulations. Advantageous to possess: • ISO 9001 Quality Management certification • Project management experience. • Project management related certification such as CITPM, COMIT or PMP. Advantageous to have experience in: • Working in the public sector/Government agencies. • Agile Project Development. • Use of data visualization tools and reporting tools. • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
