It's yours to build.The opportunity: your next adventure awaitsAs an intern with Technology Assurance team, you will assist our clients to identify and manage their technology risks. Our independent position and assessment capabilities provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape and the controls in place.Working with some of the top Fortune Global 500 companies and large local conglomerates including Financial Institutions and Fintech, you will be involved in assessments and attestation services that will directly support C-suite discussions and important business decisions regarding compliance, cost and quality of our clients' risk management programs.IT AuditAs an intern within the Technology Assurance team, you will participate in multiple client engagement teams and other related activities. Engagements focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of Information Technology (IT) systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks. Engagements may be either assurance/other assurance (attestation) and/or extended assurance in nature and vary considerably in size and complexity.You will serve as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximise efficiencies and minimise risk.You will work with client personnel to analyse, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and will assist clients and other Technology Assurance professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.Skills and attributes for success:Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents.Work with the engagement team to document the business processes dependent on information technologyServe as a fieldwork leader by directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performanceDemonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systemsUse knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentationsDemonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and servicesIT Asset ManagementIn the current landscape of technology adoption and digitalization, organizations are investing substantially in their IT infrastructure, covering both hardware and software. These investments often fall short of optimal utilization and effective management, presenting an area where the assurance department can offer valuable support and guidance.In this role, you will work on a diverse portfolio of clients, each with unique backgrounds, strengths, and aspirations. Your focus will be on recommending robust practices to clients to help ensure the efficient use of their IT assets. Each day will bring new experiences as you work to enhance our clients' confidence in their IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) practices, tailoring your approach to their specific maturity journey. Whether evaluating processes, ensuring governance, or validating license compliance, you will have a visible impact on projects that transcend borders and challenge conventional wisdom, driving transformation. On-site work will be commonplace, allowing you to intimately assess and provide support to our clients across all aspects of an ITAM project, including processes, tools, data, governance, and license compliance.Business ContinuityBusiness continuity involves proactive planning and preparation to ensure an organization's critical business functions can operate during emergency events. As an intern, your role will focus on supporting the delivery of resilience build and assessment programs, integrating foundational resilience disciplines such as business continuity, crisis management, and scenario testing.A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to establish meaningful internal and external relationships, participate in the execution of business continuity management and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) engagements or projects, and provide support for Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) lifecycle activities offered to clients.Data PrivacyData protection is important, since it prevents the information of an organization from fraudulent activities, hacking, phishing, and identity theft. Any organization that wants to work effectively need to ensure the safety of their information by implementing a data protection planAs an intern, you will assist with conducting Data Protection/Privacy Impact Assessment engagements and draft policies and/or awareness materials around data protection.What we look for

If you have a genuine desire to help businesses achieve their full potential, this role is for you.Degree in Accountancy, Business, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics or other related disciplineKnowledge or interest in the field of information security, in line with internationally accepted standards and frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x, CSA, SOX, GDPR and etc.)Knowledge or interest in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Python, R or TableauWhat's in it for you
