- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of outside sales representatives.
- Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the identification and acquisition of new customers to expand the user base.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
- Track and analyse sales metrics to assess team and individual performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Utilise data-driven insights to optimise sales processes and outcomes.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Keep the team updated on product features, market trends, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide feedback to the product team based on customer insights and market needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of sales experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience in a leadership or team management role.
- Strong understanding of the classifieds industry and online marketplace dynamics.
- In-depth understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts.
- Strong knowledge of the local market
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, and competence displayed in challenging sales scenarios
- Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrates an expert level of objection handling tactics and identifies real objections
