Come be a part of this journey!Seniority Level: Experience ProfessionalFunction: Operation - FactoryLocation: JhelumROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVESEnsure continuous running of machinery and equipment by coordinating routine maintenance and vital repairs to achieve better product quality and efficiency.WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
  • Coordinate and complete comprehensive maintenance activities, including breakdown and preventive maintenance, updating equipment data in SAP for accurate records, and coordinating with production to develop optimized maintenance plans and schedules, ensuring uninterrupted machine operation and team member awareness.
  • Be responsible for monthly revenue budgets, ensure target compliance, collaborate across departments to improve product and machine quality, and maintain high-quality production at optimized costs, minimizing waste.
  • Maintain machine availability as per production schedule by completing maintenance within agreed timelines, prioritizing to meet production demands and ensure efficient operational uptime.
  • Enforce EH&S policies for a safe work environment in maintenance operations and give to improving Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) through support of IWS PM Pillar activities.
  • Drive team engagement and motivation towards departmental goals through regular feedback, skill development initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, facilitated by regular meetings to communicate progress, updates, and action plans.
  • Coordinate machine conversions to align with market demand, ensure availability of quality spare parts through consumption monitoring, handle departmental performance against targets while seeking continuous improvement opportunities, and be responsible for various people management aspects including development, workforce planning, holidays, and performance assessments.
  • Solicit feedback from production team for maintenance quality improvement, closely collaborate with service teams for effective maintenance execution, and develop strong inter-departmental relationships with PMD, SMD, FMD, Engineering, and support functions.
  • Develop a culture of innovation by encouraging the team to generate ideas for continuous process improvement, complete machinery standardization through modifications to enhance quality, safety, and productivity, and consistently explore avenues for enhancing processes on the production floor.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
  • A University graduate or equivalent experience in Engineering field with 2-3 years in machinery maintenance.
  • Strong Man management and analytical skills is desirable. Must be innovative in approach.
  • Should know maintenance standards and techniques. Knowledge of basic TPM concepts is desirable.
  • Should have an understanding of Environment, Health and Safety standards.
  • Effective communication skills and Good presentation skills are desirable. Should have the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Able to lead and handle change within own area
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Knowledge of raw materials and product in general.
